2004 Maryland 4-H State Horse Bowl Contest
Results

The Maryland 4-H State Horse Bowl Contest was held on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Annapolis High School in Annapolis, MD. Over 130 4-H youth competed in the challenging event, which tests their knowledge of horsemanship. The Maryland 4-H Horse Program would like to thank all of the volunteer moderators, judges, buzzer operators, scorekeepers, room coordinators, junior crafts, and food booth for making this year's contest another great success. Also, congratulations to the teams from St. Mary's County for completing their first ever State Horse Bowl contest!

The top 10 senior individuals compete for four spots on the state team that travels to the Eastern National Horse Roundup in November in Louisville, KY. The coach for the state horse bowl team is Dr. Al Starr of Howard County.
