Maryland 4-H State Dressage Show and Combined Test

Description | Show Information

Description:

The Maryland 4-H State Dressage Show and Combined Test offers 4-H project members a great opportunity to compete on a statewide level in dressage and jumping. The purpose of the show is to encourage 4-H horse project members to develop basic balanced seat riding and training skills and to offer an activity different from the traditional horse show. Judges are encouraged to communicate with the contestants to help make this competition a learning experience. Riders may meet their requirements for portions of their Horsemanship Standards by earning a 60% or higher on specified dressage tests.
