Maryland 4-H Horsemanship Standards Committee

Don't miss the last chance to provide imput on the revised Maryland 4-H Horsemanship Standards and Horse and Pony Rulebook!

The new Maryland 4-H Horsemanship Standards Committe will hold its first meeting on Saturday, November 20 from 1-3pm at the Maryland 4-H Center. All who are involved with the MD 4-H Horse program are welcome to attended. At this meeting, final revisions to the Horsemanship Standards and Rulebook will be made before they are sent to print. The meeting will also serve as a training session for leaders and those interested in becoming testers for the new standards. Lunch will be provided! The committee will continue to meet  bi-annually to discuss and evaluate the Maryland 4-H Horsemanship Standards. Directions:
To reach the Maryland 4-H Center, take Exit 25, Route 1 south, off of the Washington Beltway (I-95, I-495) toward College Park.  Take University Boulevard (MD 193) west off of Route 1. Turn right at the first light onto Metzerott Road. Make the first right onto Greenmead Drive. Turn left at the first road toward the parking lot.  The Maryland 4-H Center is to the left.
